Two weeks that shook the world

More from Infoukes in Canada (GK):

The Orange Revolution may be over but it has changed Ukraine forever. Not everything that could have been achieved was achieved. The power of the people far outreached the wisdom and courage of its leaders. But this power was so great that it prevented this leadership from committing fatal blunders. And now, whatever happens, the rules of the game have been altered beyond reversal.=== Too many historical events are even now under way in this aftermath of the "two weeks that shook the world" (the liberation of Ukraine might well have consequences just as strong as the Soviet coup of 1917 so a borrowing from John Reed is not out of line). But look at the shower of important facts today: the CEC has four new members and a majority of "honest" types, the major falsification routes have been plugged, the odious Attorney General is gone, the Minister of Internal Affairs rumoured to be dismissed later today. A Yushchenko victory on December 26 is now absolutely guaranteed (if he lives...), and he will have a minimum of 8 months with full Presidential powers before the "political reform" kicks in (if it ever does: it could still be cancelled by referendum if the changes don't go fast enough or the resistance of entrenched bandits is too stiff. Kuchma has no guarantees. He has three weeks and then a lot of grief. Many falsifiers of Nov. 21 are being brought to justice in Lviv and Volyn' Provinces and this is just the beginning...

What a bunch of bullshit. “Yushchenko victory on December 26 is now absolutely guaranteed” Not so fast. Even if he wins, lets see how many people vote for him and against him. I think you will be “pleasantly” surprised. “entrenched bandits”? Isn’t Timoshenko one of them? The last time I checked, she was wanted for financial manipulations and bribery.
We have plenty of propaganda pouring at us from Ukrainian Channel 5 (one side) and from Russian 1-st Channel (another side). Canadian propaganda is the last thing we need now.
