BULLDOZERS ENTER LAND FIGHT IN CRIMEA: Police bulldozed the homes of several Crimean Tatars accused of illegally occupying land in a the resort town of Sudak in the Crimea on Wednesday in an escalation of a conflict between local authorities and the Tatars over land rights in this Ukrainian region on the Black Sea. The Tatars have claimed the land, one of the most valuable plots in the region, as their own, and their clashes with police, who have attempted to remove them, have at times turned violent. Police arrested at least three people in Wednesday's altercation.
