Greetings everyone,
I wanted to let you know that I am organizing a workshop for U.S.
students in Ukraine (Kyiv and Yalta) sponsored by NSF IRES program
(http://ie.tamu.edu/people/faculty/butenko/IRES2006.pdf), and even
though the application deadline has passed, I still have two positions to fill
due to late cancellations.
The program covers all workshop-related expenses and provides a
stipend.
To qualify, you need to be a full-time student in a U.S. university
with a demonstrated interest in theory and/or applications of optimization.
Preference will be given to undergraduate students, however, given the
time constraint, graduate students will also be considered.
Due to budget limitations I will not be able to reimburse or pay the state
of Texas employees. If you are interested and qualify, email me AS SOON
AS POSSIBLE. Also, feel free to forward this message to anyone who may
be interested.
